Sean Vogler: A Dedicated Family Man & Experienced Construction Professional

Sean Vogler is a proud Iowa native with a keen eye for detail and an extensive background in construction. His deep-rooted connection to the Iowa City area dates back to 1995 when he attended the University of Iowa. Over the years, he has lived and worked in the community, fostering strong relationships and a deep appreciation for the region.

Family is at the heart of Sean’s life. His daughter is a member of the University of Iowa women’s golf team and an active volunteer in the Iowa City community. She also assists a local realtor in staging homes and learning the intricacies of the real estate market.

Sean’s strong work ethic began at the age of 14 when he took his first job at Hy-Vee. Over the next 12 years, he excelled in multiple roles, ultimately playing a key role in setting up new stores, including the Winona, MN location. In 2004, he transitioned from Hy-Vee to focus on his growing family.

His early experience in construction started in high school, working with a small local contractor in Orion, IL, roofing and siding homes. After returning to Iowa in 2004, he continued to hone his skills, assisting friends and family with roofing, deck building, and various construction projects.

In the early 2000s, Sean expanded his expertise by working as a claims adjuster for Sentry Insurance, gaining valuable insight into the insurance restoration industry. This experience, combined with his passion for construction, led him to launch his first company, Olde Town Roofing, in 2011.
